WHERE CAN I FIND A TAX CARD?
Individual property tax cards are now available ONLINE using Avitar, which is updated bi-annually. A tax card formally details specific data available on the parcel including lot size, ownership and sales information, photos, accessory buildings, and other data that pertains to the age and size of the building along with the number of rooms, baths, bedrooms, etc. The Assessing Office can print a tax card in-person for a $2 fee
WHAT CAN I DO IF I BELIEVE MY ASSESSMENT IS INCORRECT/NEEDS ADJUSTMENT?

WHAT IS THE TIME FRAME FOR MY CURRENT ASSESSMENT?
The assessing calendar year runs from April 1st through March 31st
WHERE CAN I FIND MAPS OF MY PROPERTY?
The City of Franklin updates the GIS mapping system quarterly, last updated in AUGUST 2025. You can search property information including ownership at www.axisgis.com/FranklinNH/. Tax Maps are located in the Assessing Office and can be printed for a fee of $2. You can view older tax maps on our Tax Mapping webpage.
HOW DO I GET A COPY OF MY DEED?
Through the Merrimack Country Registry of Deeds. The Assessing Office no longer can distribute copies of deeds
