Teen CERT Summer Camp Coming to Franklin This August

The Winnipesaukee Public Health Network is hosting a Teen CERT (Community Emergency Response Team) Summer Camp in Franklin this August for youth ages 12–18.
Participants will learn valuable hands-on skills in:
- Fire prevention and safety
- Emergency first aid
- Disaster preparedness
- Team building and leadership
The camp features interactive activities and guest instructors from organizations including CERT, the Medical Reserve Corps (MRC), Lakes Region Search and Rescue, 4-H, NH Fish & Game, the Army Corps of Engineers, and local emergency services.
Franklin Teen CERT Summer Camp
August 11–13, 2026
Bessie Rowell Community Center, Franklin
Day Camp Hours: Approximately 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Cost: $45 per participant
Scholarships are available upon request.
This program is a great opportunity for teens to build confidence, learn life-saving skills, make new friends, and gain a better understanding of emergency preparedness in their communities.
